The fund is a long/short equity hedge fund and is suitable for investors looking to benefit from equity market growth while safeguarding their capital during times of market uncertainty, ultimately aiming to achieve superior returns at lower volatility compared to equity markets over the medium to longer term.

A relative-value equity fund that is generally positioned to be market-neutral. It is a flexible hedge fund suitable for high-net-worth individuals, institutions, family offices and hedge fund of funds. The investment objective is to generate returns in excess of cash (STeFI) on an annual basis, at low levels of volatility. The fund will predominantly invest in South African markets, but may also invest in offshore markets. It may invest in listed and unlisted securities, including but not limited to equities, bonds, money markets instruments, property shares, derivatives and debentures. The fund was started in July 2008, since October 2016 the fund has been regulated under CISCA.

The fund will seek to capture value opportunities in JSE listed shares which are likely to be unlocked over a two to three-year horizon but may be subject to short term price volatility.
